Trakero vs Stape: server-side tracking without a GTM server container
Stape hosts a server-side Google Tag Manager container that you configure with GTM tags and clients. Trakero is the tracking server itself: you connect destinations in a dashboard, and it deduplicates, hashes and delivers each event, showing why any event was or wasn't sent.

Questions
Can I use Trakero together with Google Tag Manager?+
Yes. Your web GTM container can load the Trakero snippet with dataLayer: true, and Trakero reads the GA4 ecommerce events you already push. You don't need a server container.
Are the request and event limits comparable?+
Not directly: a Stape request counts every incoming hit, including script loads; an event here is one accepted tracking event. Compare with your own traffic.
