Track WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram DM orders as ad conversions
In f-commerce, the sale happens in the inbox. Record the order in the dashboard in a few seconds and Meta learns which ads bring buyers who message and pay.

What you get
Credited to click-to-message ads
With the WhatsApp ctwa_clid and your WhatsApp Business Account id, or the Messenger page-scoped user id, the order is sent with action_source business_messaging, which Meta attributes to the ad the customer clicked.
Every other chat order still counts
Without those ids the order is sent as a chat or phone_call conversion, matched by the customer's hashed phone number.
Made for the phone
A mobile-first form: channel, phone (Bengali digits work), items, total, delivery charge and COD/bKash/Nagad.
In your reports
Chat orders appear in Analytics as their own channel and count once per order id, even if you also create the order in your shop.
Where browser-only tracking loses the sale
Pick a situation your shoppers are in and watch one order take both paths.

Questions
Where do I find ctwa_clid?+
It is in the referral object of the first message when a customer taps a click-to-WhatsApp ad, delivered by the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) webhook. The WhatsApp Business app does not show it; orders from it are still sent as chat conversions matched by phone.
Is sending chat orders allowed?+
Meta's Conversions API for Business Messaging accepts events for conversions that happen in the messaging thread. Trakero only sends a business messaging event when those ids are present.
