Free SHA-256 hash generator for Meta CAPI, Google and TikTok
Ad platforms match customers by hashed email and phone, but only if the value was normalized first. Type a value to see the normalized form and the hash each platform should receive.
Used to read local phone numbers without a country code.
Hashed in your browser. Nothing is sent.
What each platform receives
Type an email or phone number to see its normalized value and SHA-256 hash.
Nothing leaves your browser
Hashing uses your browser's built-in Web Crypto. The page makes no request with what you type.
The same rules as Trakero
This tool uses the same normalization as Trakero's ingestion, including Bengali digits and local numbers such as 01712-345678 → 8801712345678.
Two phone forms
Meta wants the digits with country code and no +; Google and TikTok hash the E.164 form with +. Both are shown.
Questions
Why is my Gmail hash different for Google?+
Google's rules remove dots and any +suffix before the @ in gmail.com and googlemail.com addresses; Meta's don't. Trakero sends each platform its own form.
Should I hash city and country?+
For Meta, yes: city, state, zip and country are hashed. Trakero also keeps coarse location unhashed for Google, which requires it.
Platform rules from Meta: Customer information parameters.
Let Trakero do this for every order
Trakero captures click ids, hashes customer data and sends each purchase once to Meta, TikTok, GA4 and more from your server, so ad blockers and Safari can't lose it.
